Alexandre Falguière

Alexandre Falguière (potret oleh Alexis Axilette

Jean Alexandre Joseph Falguière (juga disebut Jean-Joseph-Alexandre Falguière, atau pendeknya Alexandre Falguière) (7 September 1831 - 20 April 1900) merupakan seorang pematung dan pelukis Prancis.[1] Falguière lahir di Toulouse.[1] Ia belajar di École des Beaux-Arts, dan memenangkan Prix de Rome pada 1859; dia dianugerahi medali kehormatan di Salon pada 1868 dan dilantik sebagai Perwira Légion d'honneur pada 1878.[1]

Falguière meninggal di Paris pada 1900 dan dimakamkan di Pemakaman Père Lachaise, di mana monumennya dibuat oleh muridnya Marqueste.
