Angelo Mariani atau Ange-François Mariani (1838 di Pero-Casevecchie, Haute-Corse – 1914) adalah seorang kimiawan dan pengusaha Prancis dari pulau Korsika.

Karier

Dia paling dikenal sebagai penemu anggur coca pertama, Vin Mariani, pada 1863. Sumbangannya adalah memperkenalkan daun coca secara tidak langsung kepada masyarakat umum. Mariani mengimpor berton-ton daun coca dan menggunakan ekstraknya dalam banyak produk. Namun, anggur coca Marianilah yang membuatnya kaya raya dan terkenal. Mariani juga dianugerahi medali penghargaan dari Paus Leo XIII.[1]

Anggur tonik ini digambarkan sebagai nenek moyang Coca-Cola.[2]
