Band Baaja Baaraat (English: Bands Horns and Revelry; dirilis secara internasional dengan judul Wedding Planners) adalah judul film India produksi Bollywood produksti tahun 2010 bergenre roman komedi yang disutradarai oleh Maneesh Sharma. Film ini dibintangi oleh pendatang baru, Ranveer Singh bersama Anushka Sharma sebagai pemeran utama. Band Baaja Baaraat diproduksi dan didistribusikan oleh Yash Raj Films pada 10 Desember 2010, mengangkat kisah romantik yang dikemas secara komedi, tentang seorang perencana pernikahan.[2][3] Film ini secara resmi diluncurkan pada 21 Februari 2014.[4]

Latar belakang

Shruti (Anushka Sharma) dan Bittoo (Ranveer Singh) adalah mahasiswa berusia sekitar 20-an yang baru saja lulus dari perguruan tinggi Hans Raj di Universitas Delhi. Keduanya berasal dari latar belakang keluarga yang berbeda. Shruti datang dari keluarga kelas menengah dan begitu termotivasi, ambisius dan fokus. Sementara Bittoo adalah pemalas yang gemar bersenang-senang dengan teman-temannya. Mereka bertemu dan memulai usaha bersama sebagai perencana pernikahan yang cukup ramai. Namun ada aturan ketat di antara mereka, yakni tidak mencampur adukkan hubungan bisnis dengan kesenangan pribadi. Shruti dan Bittoo mulai menghadapi naik turunnya kemegahan dunia pernikahan di Delhi yang glamor dan mewah. Hal ini akan menguji persahabatan mereka yang akhirnya membuat mereka saling 'menemukan' satu sama lain.
