Dead pool

Dead pool adalah permainan prediksi dan taruhan dengan cara menebak kapan seseorang akan mati. Terkadang permainan ini menjadi taruhan yang menggunakan uang.[1]

Pada awal abad ke-20, dead pool populer dalam acara olahraga berbahaya seperti motorsport, permainan ini juga pernah dimuat dalam edisi pertama Indianapolis 500.[2]

Dalam variasi permainan dead pool lain, para pemain akan memilih selebritas yang mereka pikir akan mati dalam tahun ini. Sebagian besar permainan berlangsung dalam jangka waktu 1 tahun, pada 1 Januari dan berjalan selama 12 bulan. Kadang-kadang taruhan juga berlangsung lebih lama.[butuh rujukan]
