Demi World Tour adalah tur konser kelima oleh penyanyi asal Amerika Serikat, Demi Lovato. Tur ini menjadi tur kedua Lovato dalam mendukung album studio keempatnya, DEMI (2013), setelah The Neon Lights Tour.[1][2] Tur ini diproduksi dan dipromosikan oleh Live Nation, dan disponsori oleh Tampax dan Always Radiant Collection.[3] Leg pertama tur berlangsung di Amerika Serikat dan Kanada dari 6 September 2014 sampai 27 Oktober 2014, di mana Christina Perri dan MKTO akan berkerja sebagai pembuka konser.[4]

Latar Belakang dan Pengembangan

Pada tanggal 28 Mei 2014 video diterbitkan di akun YouTube Lovato dengan tulisan "Besok 10:00 PST" dalam warna fuchsia memudar dalam latar belakang putih, diikuti dengan link ke situs Lovato, sementara kerumunan berteriak dapat terdengar di latar belakang. Hari berikutnya, Demi World Tour diumumkan bersama dengan Jadwal di Amerika Utara pada website Lovato, serta video di saluran YouTube-nya.[5] Christina Perri dan MKTO berkerja sebagai pembuka tur di bagian Amerika Utara.<refname="Announcing Demi World Tour"/> Tony Oller dari MKTO telah bekerja dengan Lovato sebelumnya, pada acara singkat Disney Channel, As the Bells Ring, di mana mereka berperan sebagai Danny dan Charlotte. Tiket untuk tur tersedia pada tanggal 6 Juni 2014 dengan tur akan dimulai pada tanggal 6 September 2014. Pada tanggal 19 Juni 2014 Lovato mengumumkan pertama kalinya akan tampil di Staples Center di Los Angeles, California.[6]

Promosi

Pada tanggal 28 April 2014 Lovato mengumumkan kemitraan dengan Shazam, dalam perencanaan European Tour. Lovato meminta para penggemarnya untuk menandai lagu "Neon Lights" dan Mendengar itu pada Shazam, dan informasi ini akan digunakan untuk memesan Jadwal tur Eropanya. Hal ini memungkinkan para penggemar untuk memainkan peran penting dalam mana acara nya akan dimainkan. Mengenai kemitraan, kepala Shazam tentang musik menyatakan "Ini adalah cara yang fantastis untuk Shazam untuk membantu penggemar Demi Lovato di seluruh Eropa dengan mudah memberikan suara mereka untuk memiliki dimana dia akan tampil di sebuah kota dekat mereka."[7] Lovato telah membuat penampilan di Late Night with Seth Meyers pada tanggal 4 Juni 2014 dan Good Morning America sebagai bagian dari Summer Concert Series mereka pada tanggal 6 Juni 2014 untuk mempromosikan tur.
