Harisah


Harisah adalah salah satu makanan khas timur tengah yang cukup terkenal di dunia kuliner, bahkan telah dikenal di dunia kuliner Indonesia dan sudah sering disajikan dalam acara tertentu. Kuliner ini telah disajikan oleh masyarakat timur tengah secara turun-menurun. Makanan ini merupakan olahan berbentuk bubur. Pada umumnya harisah dibuat dari daging domba yang sudah diolah. Namun ada juga yang dibuat dari daging ayam, gandum, dan beras. Untuk membuat harisah dibutuhkan waktu yang lama. Dalam pembuatan setidaknya membutuhkan waktu 12 jam dengan tempat pembuatan yang khusus. Bubur harisah disajikan dalam wadah yang terbuat dari daun lontar. Bubur ini biasa dimakan orang-orang timur tengah untuk menambah stamina. Di Indonesia, harisah sering dibuat dan disajikan oleh pondok pesantren sebagai makanan yang melambangkan kedermawanan.
