Olahraga disabilitas

Olahraga disabilitas, juga disebut olahraga adaptif atau para-olahraga,[1] adalah olahraga yang dimainkan oleh orang berkebutuhan khusus, yang meliputi tuna daksa dan tuna grahita. Karena banyak olahraga disabilitas berdasarkan pada kemampuan raga yang masih ada serta dimodifikasi untuk menyesuaikan kebutuhan seseorang yang berkebutuhan khusus, olahraga tersebut terkadang disebut olahraga yang diadaptasi. Namun, tidak semua olahraga disabilitas diadaptasi; beberapa olahraga yang secara khusus dibuat bagi orang berkebutuhan khusus tak sama dengan olahraga non-disabilitas. Disabilitas adalah dalam empat kategori: fisik, mental, permanen dan temporer.
