Pisau laga

Sekumpulan pisau laga.

Pisau laga adalah suatu pisau dengan mata yang dirancang untuk mengakibatkan luka fisik dalam konfrontasi antara dua individu atau lebih dalam jarak pendek (jarak pergulatan).[1][2][3][4] Pisau tempur, yang dulu dikenal sebagai pisau parit, adalah jenis pisau laga militer.[1][5]

Pisau laga dirancang sebagai senjata bertujuan khusus, untuk penggunaan pribadi maupun pertarungan satu lawan satu. Tujuan khusus inilah yang membedakan pisau laga dengan pisau medan, pisau alat tempur, atau pisau taktis. Pisau taktis adalah pisau dengan suatu fitur militer atau lebih yang dirancang untuk digunakan dalam situasi ekstrem, yang dapat meliputi atau tidak meliputi kemampuan untuk digunakan sebagai sarana berkelahi atau bertempur.[6] Sejak Perang Dunia I, pisau laga dalam keperluan militer perlahan-lahan berkembang dengan fungsi ganda atau pisau "alat berlaga", cocok dipakai untuk bertarung maupun sebagai peralatan tajam.
