Be careful, here are 63 Android Applications Detected to be Infiltrated by Malignant Malware!

Cybersecurity researchers from McAfee recently discovered a new malware called 'Goldoson' which is vicious. reached 60 Google Play Store Android applications that were detected to be infiltrated by this dangerous malware.The number of downloads of these 60 applications totaled more than 100 million downloads.

This ganar malware is deliberately added by developers in the application development process.In developing their applications, these developers use third-party libraries whose components have been infected with malware. They use those components to save time while developing certain parts of the application.

The McAfee team in their report found that the Goldoson malware can collect data on installed applications, devices connected via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, to the user's GPS location.Not only that, this malicious malware can also commit ad fraud or ad fraud by clicking on ads that run in the background without the user's knowledge and permission. Upon these findings, the McAfee team immediately reported their findings to Google, which then submitted them to the developers of each application.

For information, McAfee is a member of the Google App Defense Alliance which helps keep the Google Play Store free of malware and adware.After that, the developer immediately updated and cleaned the application infected with the Goldoson malware. Meanwhile, another app was immediately removed from the Google Play Store because the developer did not respond directly to Google's report and did not comply with app store policies.
