كاميرا فلسطين، هو كتاب شارك في تأليفه كل من عصام نصار وسليم تماري واسطفان شيحا، صدر بالإنجليزية عن دار نشر جامعة كاليفورنيا، وهو استكشاف نقدي للمؤرخ المقدسي واصف جوهرية (1972-1904)، بعنوان تاريخ فلسطين المصور، يروي البيئة الثقافية والسياسية الثرية لفلسطين العثمانية وفلسطين تحت الإنتداب.[1][2][3]

الوصف

  • دعت مؤسسة الدراسات الفلسطينية، في القدس إلى ندوة إطلاق كتاب كاميرا فلسطين في  10 كانون الثاني 2023 .[4]
  • الكتاب صدر باللغة الإنكليزية عن "منشورات جامعة كاليفورنيا" للباحثين عصام نصّار واسطفان شيحا وسليم تماري.[5]
  • يقدم وصفاً دقيقاً وتحليلاً معمّقاً للتحوّلات السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية للحياة اليومية في فلسطين منذ نهاية الحقبة العثمانية، ومروراً بفترة الحكم العسكري والاستعمار البريطاني، وبداية الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.[3]

الأهمية

  • المذكرات مقدمة بسبعة مجلّدات تحوي مجموعات فوتوغرافية غطّت الحياة اليومية في القدس خلال الفترة ذاتها، كما جمع:

في مجلّد "الدفاتر الموسيقية" سجلّاً للموسيقى الشعبية التي انتشرت في فلسطين في بداية القرن العشرين، ودوّن ألحانها وكلماتها مستعملاً نظاماً خاصّاً بتدوين النوتة الموسيقية.

  • قدم المؤلفون دليلاً على المجال المتواصل للتجربة المادية والتاريخية والجماعية من الماضي الحي إلى الحاضر الحي لفلسطين العربية.[6]
  • قدم توصيف دقيقاً جدّاً في توثيق أسماء الأشخاص والأمكنة الظاهرة في الصور بترتيب يراعي التسلسل الزمني والموضوعات.
  • جعل صورته نوعاً من التأريخ السياسي والاجتماعي للحياة الحديثة في فلسطين خلال مرحلة حاسمة من تاريخها.[7]
