The 2024–25 season is the 127th season in the history of Bristol City Football Club and their tenth consecutive season in the Championship. In addition to the domestic league, the club is also participating in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.

Pre-season and friendlies

On 9 May, Bristol City announced they would host Willem II in what would be the final pre-season friendly.[35] A second friendly was later confirmed against Aldershot Town.[36] A further two more were added on June 4, versus Newport County and Exeter City, both behind closed doors.[37] On 10 June, City announced a friendly against Cheltenham Town.[38]
