Fausto Corrêa da Silva (born 2 May 1950), commonly known as Faustão (literally Big Fausto), is a Brazilian former television presenter.[ 1] He is best known as the host of long-running Sunday afternoon show Domingão do Faustão , which premiered in 1989.
Due to heart failure , Silva underwent heart transplantation on 27 August 2023 in Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital , in São Paulo.[ 2] [ 3] He also underwent kidney transplantation in the same hospital on 26 February 2024.[ 4] [ 5]
