He signed with Al Ahly SC in the middle of the 2022–23 season amid interest from arch-rivals Zamalek SC on a four-and-a-half-year contract.[2][3]
International career
He was called up for the first time to the Egyptian national team in August 2022,[4] before making his first appearance on 24 March 2023.[5]
Personal life
Attia's father passed away on 13 July 2023, while Attia was in a camp preparing for the Zamalek match.[6] He married his fiancée, Salma Saqr, on 25 July 2024, after postponing it from last year due to the death of his father.[7]
