Usuda Station (臼田駅, Usuda-eki) is a train station in the city of Saku, Nagano, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).^[1]

Lines

Usuda Station is served by the Koumi Line and is 60.9 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Kobuchizawa Station.^[1]

Station layout

The station consists of two ground-level side platforms connected by a level crossing. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.^[1]

History

Usuda Station opened on 28 December 1915 as the Sandanda Station (三反田駅). It was renamed Santanda Station on 1 September 1934, and renamed to its present name on 1 October 1963.^[1] With the dissolution and privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of the East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
