IC 5048 (također poznat kao ESO 74-12 i PGC 65570) je prečkasta spiralna galaksija koja je udaljena oko 619 miliona sg od Zemlje i nalazi se u sazviježđu Paun. Najveći prečnik je 0,60 (108 hiljada sg) a najmanji 0,5 uglovnih minuta (90 hiljada sg).[b] Prvo otkriće je napravio DeLisle Stewart 26. septembra 1900. godine.[2][4][5]
