The 1981–82 Gold Cup was the 63rd edition of the Gold Cup, a cup competition in Northern Irish football.[1]

The tournament was won by Linfield for the 27th time, defeating Ballymena United 5–4 on penalties in the final at The Oval after the match finished in a 1–1 draw.[2][3]
