2012 Houston Astros season
Major League Baseball team season
The Houston Astros 2012 season was the 51st and final season for the franchise in the National League in Houston , their 48th as the Astros and their 13th season at Minute Maid Park .
This season was also the Astros ' last in the National League. As a part of the sale of the team from Drayton McLane to Jim Crane , the Astros agreed to move from the National League Central to the American League West starting in 2013.[ 1]
