The Houston Astros 2012 season was the 51st and final season for the franchise in the National League in Houston, their 48th as the Astros and their 13th season at Minute Maid Park.

This season was also the Astros' last in the National League. As a part of the sale of the team from Drayton McLane to Jim Crane, the Astros agreed to move from the National League Central to the American League West starting in 2013.[1]
