2024 IIHF World Championship Division III
Ice hockey world championships
The 2024 IIHF World Championship Division III consisted of two international ice hockey tournaments ran by the International Ice Hockey Federation .[ 1]
The Group A tournament was held in Bishkek , Kyrgyzstan, from 10 to 16 March 2024 and the Group B tournament in Sarajevo , Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 23 to 29 February 2024.[ 2] [ 3]
Thailand secured the top spot and promotion in Group A, while Bosnia and Herzegovina won the Group B tournament and got promoted. Mexico got relegated from Group A and Iran finished last in Group B and was relegated to Division IV.[ 4] [ 5]
