American football coach (born c. 1978)
William J. Hammer (born c. 1978) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Bowdoin College, a position he has held since 2019.[1][2][3] He was the head football coach for Whittier College from 2006 to 2010 and Allegheny College from 2016 to 2018.[4][5][6][7] He also coached for Wabash and Heidelberg.[8] He played college football for Wabash as a linebacker.[9]
