The Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS, Nepali: कृषि तथा पशु विज्ञान अध्ययन संस्थान) is one of the five technical institutes under Tribhuvan University, Nepal's largest academic institution.[1]
IAAS runs undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programs in Agriculture and Livestock stream. it previously ran Diploma courses till 2012. The institute has four constituent and four affiliated campuses in the country.[2][3]
History
IAAS was established in 1959 AD under Tribhuvan University as one of the technical institute at Rampur, Chitwan. Later constituent Campuses were established in Lamjung, Paklihawa and Jhapa respectively. Currently the central campus Rampur Campus is situated in Khairahani, Chitwan.[4][5][6]
