Kadhalikka Neramillai (transl. No Time for Love) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. It is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menon in the lead roles, alongside Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, John Kokken and Lal.

Prior to the announcement, the project was referred as JR33, as it is Ravi's 33rd film as a lead actor. The film was officially announced in November 2023 in addition to the official title. Principal photography commenced the same month. It was predominantly shot in Chennai and wrapped by late-May 2024. The film has music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography handled by Gavemic U. Ary and editing by Lawrence Kishore.

Development

After the release of Ponniyin Selvan: II in 2023, it was reported that Jayam Ravi's next project would be helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, accompanied by the actor pairing opposite Nithya Menen for the first time.[1] Tentatively titled JR33, the project would be funded by Kiruthiga's husband, Udhayanidhi Stalin's, production house Red Giant Movies.[2] Menen confirmed the project, along with her presence in it that October,[3] whilst the company made a public announcement on 29 November, confirming the project,[4] and the official title Kaadhalikka Neramillai was announced the same day.[5]

Filming

Principal photography began on 29 November 2023[6] and wrapped on 28 May 2024.[7]
