Muldu is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[2]
In the 2021 census, Muldu had "no people or a very low population".[1]
Muldu is an Aboriginal word, meaning "shade". It was originally assigned to the Muldu railway station by the Queensland Railways Department on 24 November 1911.[2]
Muldu State School opened on 3 September 1917 and closed in 1966.[3] It was on a 3-acre (1.2 ha) site at 123 Muldu Plainview Road (27°16′09″S 151°41′14″E / 27.26910°S 151.68733°E / -27.26910; 151.68733 (Muldu State School (former))).[4][5]
In the 2016 census Muldu had a population of three.[6]
