  • 924 AD – Market active.[1]
  • 1004 – Norwich sacked by Danes.[2]
  • 1067 – Norwich Castle construction begins (approximate date).
  • 1094 – Seat of East Anglian bishopric relocated to Norwich from Thetford.[3]
