Newspapers.comHello HazelAB. I applied for the Newspapers.com subscription on Saturday and was accepted sometime on Sunday. I then created an account and filled out the Google form, but I still do not have free access to all the newspapers. Thanks,--12george1 (talk) 19:35, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Question about quote from newspapers.comHello. I have added a fairly long (3 lines) quote from an article I found on newspapers.com for J. Washington Moore. Should I trim it a bit more? I feel like all of it is significant though, and those who don't have access to newspapers.com will want to read what the article said, given that it is a contentious issue. Usually I don't add quote at all, but in this case I feel like it is necessary. What do you think? (Please ping me when you respond as I may not see your page on my watchlist.) Thank you.Zigzig20s (talk) 19:26, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, Amqui (talk) 16:52, 7 March 2016 (UTC) Newspapers.com sign-upHi HazelAB, thank you very much for the approval. A few days before I applied to you, another editor suggested that I sign up for a free membership at Newspapers.com, so I did. However, I was unable to access anything without paying more money – and that's when the other editor informed me that I should have signed up on your list. I mention all this because after receiving your approval email, I clicked on the special partnership registration link that helps you track who subscribes via your partnership, and it said that I was already a free member. I hope this doesn't mess up your records. I went ahead and did step 2, filling out the Google form. Best, Yoninah (talk) 13:52, 8 March 2016 (UTC) DYK for The Red and the Green

I applied for one, but never received any login information or password or instruction on how to get such. I had assumed something had gone wrong, or that you were over the limit on accounts. Having that account would have made several articles I was working on much easier. If possible, can you check and see if I really do have a newspapers.com account, and let me know what my user login and password are, or how to get them? Thank you. --Lajmmoore (talk 08:54, 25 February 2025 (UTC) via MassMessaging References Hello HazelAB, I came across the Kent Island article while doing routine spelling edits and noticed a number of "format errors" introduced by a new editor that need to be addressed. Normally, I would simply revert the current iteration back to a clean version dated May 23, 2024, but I see that you made a few edits today. Since you have edited the article several times over the years, would you be inclined to clean up the present version and eliminate the errors, or would you be okay with a revert? Regards. Woodlot (talk) 19:44, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
Please be careful with edits like this, because in fact Lorimer is the ONLY source for John Kent and his sons having saved 150+ lives as lightstation/lighthouse keepers, so it is necessary. Fundy Isles Historian - J (talk) 16:30, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
HazelAB, thanks for taking the time to clean up the article. It's in much better shape now. Woodlot (talk) 21:11, 17 March 2025 (UTC) If you don't mind, I'd love help with Robert Pagan; it had zero references and was a giant textblock - but where you showed interest in Moses Gerrish, I thought you might also be tangentially interested as I am in the half-dozen major characters in the forming of the area. I'm also debating whether to make Thomas Farrell his own article to remove some details from Deer Island (New Brunswick) Fundy Isles Historian - J (talk) 01:43, 9 May 2025 (UTC) I'm also having difficulty figuring out how to link a bunch of the islands (I'm thinking of deleting Nub and possibly a couple others that lack much independent information beyond their larger sister-island) to their other-language articles such as Salkeld Islands which exists on ceb. but when I click "Add Languages" it just blanks out. As https://ceb.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte_County_(kondado_sa_Kanada) shows, most of these islands are also on ceb. and elsewhere Fundy Isles Historian - J (talk) 02:32, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
