Historio

La unua mencio pri la loko devenis el 1245. Baldaŭe la komunumo urbiĝis havanta ankaŭ doganprenan rajton. En 1910 loĝis tie 597 da homoj, (hungaroj en majoritato, slovakoj en minoritato). Ĝis 1919 ili apartenis al Hont, al distrikto de Ipolyság, poste al Ĉeĥoslovakio. Inter 1938-1945 la vilaĝo rehungariĝis. La unua Arbitracio de Vieno deklaris, ke tiuj komunumoj, kie la hungaroj vivas en majoritato, apartenu al Hungario. Post la 2-a mondmilito la hungaroj iĝis senrajtaj laŭ Dekretoj de Beneš. En 2001 loĝis tie 595 da homoj, (306 slovakoj, 277 hungaroj).
