HD 188753 on kolmoistähti Joutsenen tähtikuviossa 151 ± 5 valovuoden päässä. Tähti ei näy paljain silmin, sen näennäinen kirkkaus on +7.43.[3]

Koordinaatit rektaskensio 19h 55', deklinaatio +41° 52'[4] Tähtien spektrityypit GV / K0V / M2V.lähde? Järjestelmän suurin tähti on A-komponentti, jota tähtipari BC kiertää soikealla radalla 25,7 vuoden jaksossa. Tämän suuren radan isoakselin puolikas on 12,1 AU, eksentrisyys 0,5.[5] A-komponenttia pidetään Auringon kaksosena.lähde? B ja C kiertävät toisiaan hyvin lähellä 156 päivän jaksossa.[5]

Mahdollinen planeetta

Vuonna 2005 Yhdysvalloissa työskentelevä puolalainen astronomi Maciej Konacki ilmoitti tehneensä havainnon HD 188753 A:ta kiertävästä hieman Jupiteria suuremmasta planeetasta.[2] Kuumaksi jupiteriksi arvioidun planeettakandidaatin arvioitu kierrosaika keskustähtensä ympäri oli 3,35 päivää.[6] Myöhemmät tutkimukset eivät ole kyenneet vahvistamaan planeetan olemassaoloa.[7]
