Valmistus

Pääartikkeli: M-luokka (sukellusvene, Neuvostoliitto)

Alus tilattiin Sverdlovskista Uralmašilta, missä köli laskettiin 1932. Alus laskettiin vesille 24. huhtikuuta 1933 ja otettiin palvelukseen 13. kesäkuuta 1934.[1]

Palvelus

Alus siirrettiin 1934 Tyynenmeren laivastoon.[1]
