Le diocèse de Lisala, en latin Dioecesis Lisalaensis est un diocèse de l'église catholique de rite latin, suffragant de l'archidiocèse de Mbandaka-Bikoro, en République démocratique du Congo. Il est nommé d'après son siège épiscopal, la ville de Lisala. Sa superficie est de 70 000 km², pour une population de 1 400 000 personnes, dont 767 232 (54,8 %) sont catholiques en 2004.

Histoire

  • le est établi un vicariat apostolique dépendant de la Nouvelle-Anvers, à partir de territoires faisant jusque-là partie du vicariat apostolique de Léopoldville.
  • Cessions de territoires au profit de Tsuapa, Coquilhatville et Basankusu.
  •  : renommé vicariat apostolique de Lisala
  •  : cession de territoires au profit de la préfecture apostolique d'Isangi
  •  : par la bulle Cum parvulum de Jean XXIII, il est élevé comme diocèse, suffragant de l'archevêché de Mbandaka-Bikoro
  •  : cession de territoire au profit du diocèse de Budjala
