GLAY (japonais : グレイ) est un groupe de rock japonais originaire de Hakodate sur l'ile de Hokkaidō au Japon.

Présentation

Le guitariste/leader Takuro (en) et le chanteur Teru (en) forment le groupe en 1988, durant leurs années lycéennes[1].

Les compositions du groupe sont très variées: progressive rock, pop, punk, R&B, folk, ska et reggae. GLAY a marqué l'histoire du rock nippon lors du Glay expo'99 - Survival au Makuhari Messe, en regroupant 200 000 personnes[2].
