A 4iG Nyrt. egy budapesti központú informatikai cég, melyet a Budapesti Értéktőzsde prémium kategóriájában jegyeznek.

A vállalat elnevezésében a 4i az International (nemzetközi), Innovative (újító), IT (információs technológia) és Investment (befektetés) angol szavakra utal, míg a G a group, vagyis (cég)csoport utalással rendelkezik.[1]

Története

Elődje az 1990-ben megalapított informatikai fókuszú FreeSoft.

A FreeSoftot 2004-ben bevezették a Budapesti Értéktőzsdére.[2]

A korábban FreeSoft néven futó, tőzsdén jegyzett informatikai cég tulajdonosi szerkezete 2014-ben NER-közeli vállalkozókhoz került. Az új cégnév 4iG lett.[3]

A T-Systems nagyvállalati üzletcsoportjának akvizícióját bejelentették,[4] ám később hitel-lehívási nehézségekre hivatkozva nem teljesítették.[5]

2020-ban a vállalat új leányvállalatot alapított az Antenna Hungária Zrt.-vel és a New Space Industries Zrt.-vel, melynek célja, hogy 2024-ben műholdat lőjenek az űrbe.[6]

2021. március 29-én bejelentették, hogy megveszik a DIGI csoport (DIGI Kft., Invitel Zrt., ITV Zrt.) leányvállalatait. 2021. november 30-án teljesen a cég kezébe került a csoport[7] 625 millió euróért, azaz 232 milliárd forintért.[8]

2021 folyamán zárt körű kötvénykibocsátási programot jelentett be a cég.[9]

2021. szeptember 13-án jelentette be a 4iG, hogy megvásárolja az Invitechet, szeptember 30-án a tranzakció pénzügyi zárása is megtörtént.[10]

2021. december 21-én bejelentették, hogy megszerezték a Telenor d.o.o. Podgorica, vagyis a Telenor Montenegro 100 százalékos részvénycsomagját.[11]

Széleskörű informatikai termék és szolgáltatás portfólióval rendelkezett.

Mensor3D Kft.

3D technológiák építészetben, gépészetben és kulturális örökség megőrzésében való alkalmazására specializálódott.

Egyéb leányvállalatok

2020 őszén a vállalat 70%-os irányítói részesedést szerzett az INNObyte Zrt.-ben, amely elsősorban mesterséges intelligencia és blockchain területekre specializálódott.[12]
