Anna, Comtesse Mathieu de Noailles (15 November 1876 – 30 April 1933) adalah seorang penulis, penyair, dan feminis sosialis Rumania-Prancis.[1]

Biografi

Lahir Putri Anna Elisabeth Bibesco-Bassaraba de Brancovan di Paris, dia adalah keturunan dari keluarga Bibescu dan Craioveşti dari Rumania yang merupakan para bangsawan. Ayahnya adalah Pangeran Grégoire Bibesco-Bassaraba, putra dari Pangeran Wallachian Gheorghe Bibesco dan Zoe Mavrocordato-Bassaraba de Brancovan. Ibunya Yunani adalah mantan Ralouka (Rachel) Mussurus, seorang musisi, kepada siapa komposer Polandia Ignacy Paderewski mendedikasikan beberapa komposisinya. Melalui ibunya, Anna de Noailles adalah cicit dari Sophronius of Vratsa, salah satu tokoh terkemuka Bulgarian National Revival, melalui cucunya Stefan Bogoridi, caimacam Moldavia.[2]

Pada tahun 1897 ia menikah dengan Mathieu Fernand Frédéric Pascal de Noailles (1873–1942), putra keempat dari 7th Duke de Noailles. Pasangan itu segera menjadi roti bakar masyarakat kelas atas Paris. Mereka memiliki satu anak, seorang putra, Pangeran Anne-Jules de Noailles (1900–1979).[3]
