Linyar keracak

Linyar keracak adalah olahraga air di mana pengendara, berdiri di atas papan jerat (papan dengan pengikat kaki), ditarik di belakang perahu motor melintasi belakangnya dan terutama di keracak untuk melakukan manuver udara.[1] Ciri khas linyar keracak adalah upaya melakukan trik di udara. Linyar keracak dikembangkan dari kombinasi teknik ski air, seluncur salju, dan selancar.

Pengendara biasanya ditarik dengan tali di belakang perahu, tetapi juga dapat ditarik dengan sistem kabel dan derek, dan ditarik oleh kendaraan bermotor lain seperti perahu pribadi, mobil, truk, dan kendaraan segala medan. Perlengkapan dan perahu selancar derek yang digunakan seringkali disesuaikan dengan keinginan masing-masing pengendara.

Meskipun aliran air alami seperti sungai, danau, dan area perairan terbuka umumnya digunakan untuk linyar keracak, linyar keracak dapat dilakukan di lokasi yang tidak konvensional, seperti jalan banjir dan tempat parkir mobil, dengan menggunakan mobil sebagai kendaraan penarik.[2] [3] [4]

Linyar keracak dilakukan untuk kesenangan dan kompetisi, mulai dari gaya bebas selancar keracak dan wakeboard parks hingga kompetisi selancar alun di X Games, WWA Wakeboard World Championships, atau acara serupa.[5] Meskipun memiliki awal yang tidak jelas, sekarang menjadi olahraga air dengan pertumbuhan tercepat di dunia.[6]
