Marco Arment (lahir 11 Juni 1982) adalah pengembang web dan iOS, penulis teknologi, dan editor majalah asal Amerika Serikat. Ia dikenal sebagai pendiri Tumblr bersama David Karp dan pencipta Instapaper. Saat ini ia tinggal di Westchester, New York.

Karier

Marco bekerja sebagai pengembang utama platform blog Tumblr[1] sejak didirikan pada Februari 2007 sampai September 2010.[2] Ia keluar Tumblr (yang saat itu memiliki 2 juta anggota[3] dan 38 juta blog per Desember 2011[4]) untuk fokus mengerjakan Instapaper,[5][6] sebuah layanan baca buku. Marco mengumumkan pada 25 April 2013 bahwa ia telah menjual saham kendalinya di Instapaper kepada Betaworks [7]

Antara November 2010 dan December 2012, Marco membawakan sebuah acara podcast berjudul Build and Analyze bersama Dan Benjamin di 5by5 Studios.

Pada Oktober 2012, Marco merilis The Magazine, terbitan eksklusif iOS yang terbit setiap minggu.

Per Januari 2013, blog yang dirintisnya pada Desember 2006 dikunjungi 600.000 orang per bulannya.[8]
