Evenkai (savivardis эвэнкил) – Sibiro tauta, kalbanti evenkų kalba ir gimininga evenams bei mandžiūrams. Gyvena ne tik beveik visame vidurio ir rytų Sibire, tačiau ir šiaurės Kinijoje bei Mongolijoje.

Iš apie 35 tūkst. Rusijos evenkų 18 232 gyvena Jakutijoje, taip pat Krasnojarsko krašte (4632), Užbaikalės krašte (1492), Irkutsko srityje (1431), Buriatijoje (2334), Chabarovsko krašte (4533), Amūro srityje (1501)[1] ir kt. Kinijoje gyvena apie 38 tūkst. evenkų; jie suskirstyti į 4 etnolingvistines grupes: (tikruosius) evenkus, oročonus, chamniganus ir solonus. Jie gyvena Vidinėje Mongolijoje, Heilongdziango ir Liaoningo provincijose. Mongolijoje gyvena ~3000 evenkų-chamniganų, kurie susitelkę Selengos aimake.

Evenkai susidarė iš III tūkst. pr. m. e. į šiaurės Kiniją atsikrausčiusios Glazkovo kultūros. II tūkst. šioje eroje evenkai išstumti į šiaurę jakutų; rytiniai evenkai suformavo evenų etnosą.

Kaip ir kitos Sibiro tautos, evenkai tradiciškai verčiasi elnininkyste ir medžiokle, taip pat amatais, kailinių žvėrelių auginimu. Būdinga poliarinė virtuvė – daug mėsos, žuvies, pieno produktų. Tradicinis evenkų pastatas – kūginis čiumas. Religija – šamanizmas.
