Lankesa – upė Vidurio Lietuvoje; Obelies kairysis intakas. Prasideda netoli Reniūnų kaimo (Ukmergės raj.). Teka į pietvakarius (Jonavos raj.), po santakos su Medukšna staiga pasuka į šiaurės vakarus. Įteka į Obelį (Kėdainių raj.) 17 km nuo jos žiočių, ties Valkaičiais.

Intakai:

kairieji: Srautas, Petrašiunka, Juodynė, Medukšna;
dešinieji: Garanklė, Gramas.

Vidutinis nuolydis – 89 cm/km. Didesnių potvynių metu, upė išsilieja iš krantų. Vasarą dažnai vietomis išdžiūsta, o žiemą įšąla iki dugno^[1].

Gyvenvietės prie Lankesos: Gaižūnai, Pasraučiai, Martyniškis, Žeimių GS, Palankesiai, Žeimiai (Jonavos r.), Užkapiai, Vainiūnai, Stašaičiai (Kėdainių r.).

Vandenvardis kilęs nuo žodžio lanka („lygi, užliejama pieva prie vandens; klonis, slėnys“) arba lankas, lankstas („įlinkis, kreivė“)^[2].
