Paulu Žoržė Gomešas Bentu (Paulo Jorge Gomes Bento; g. 1969 m. birželio 20 d.) – buvęs Portugalijos futbolininkas, atraminis saugas. Atstovavo nacionalinei rinktinei. Baigęs profesionalaus futbolininko karjerą, ėmėsi futbolo trenerio veiklos.

Karjera

Žaidėjo karjera

Karjeros pradžioje Bentu rungtyniavo įvairiuose ne pirmo pajėgumo Portugalijos klubuose, kol 1994 m. tapo „Benfica“ klubo nariu. Ten praleidęs 2 sezonus persikėlė į Ispaniją, „Real Oviedo“ klubą. Karjerą baigė Portugalijoje, Lisabonos „Sporting“.

Trenerio karjera

Baigęs karjerą „Sporting“ klube, Bentu tapo komandos jaunimo treneriu, o nuo 2005 m. – pagrindinės komandos treneriu. Pradžioje manyta, kad Bentu dirbs šį darbą tik laikinai, tačiau po sėkmingo sezono su treneriu sutartis pratęsta. 2010 m., po keleto nesėkmingų varžybų atsistatydinus Portugalijos rinktinės treneriui Karlušui Keirozui, Bentu pasiūlytas jo postas. 2012 m. Europos čempionate jo vadovaujama Portugalijos rinktinė pasiekė pusfinalį, kuriame po baudinių serijos pralaimėjo Ispanijai.

Nuo 2016 m. dirbo Cruzeiro, o 2018 m. trumpam tapo Olympiacos FC vyr. treneriu. Netrukus persikėlė į Chongqing Lifan (Kinija).

Nuo 2023 m. dirbo JAE rinktinės vyr. treneriu.

Rinktinė

Portugalijos rinktinėje žaidė 10 metų. 1992 m. sausio 10 d. debiutavo nacionalinėje komandoje draugiškose rungtynėse prieš Ispaniją.[2]

Po 2000 m. Europos čempionato pusfinalio varžybų su Prancūzija, Bentu buvo suspenduotas 5 mėnesiams, nes kartu su Abeliu Šavjeru ir Nunu Gomešu apstumdė rungtynių arbitrą.

Baigė karjerą rinktinėje po 2002 m. pasaulio čempionato.
