New York Life Insurance Company (NYLIC) merupakan syarikat insurans hayat ketiga terbesar di Amerika Syarikat,[4] syarikat insurans hayat bersama terbesar di Amerika Syarikat[5] dan menduduki tempat #69 di senarai 2018 Fortune 500 syarikat Amerika Syarikat terbesar dengan jumlah pendapatan.[6] NYLIC mempunyai kira-kira $ 570 bilion dalam jumlah aset di bawah pengurusan, dan lebih daripada $ 25 bilion dalam lebihan dan AVR.[7] Pada tahun 2007, NYLIC mencapai penarafan terbaik oleh empat syarikat penarafan bebas (Standard & Poor's, AM Best, Moody's dan Fitch). Syarikat itu beroperasi New York Life Direct, menjual dasar langsung kepada pengguna, dan merupakan rakan insurans hayat eksklusif AARP.[12]
