Pepi II Neferkare

Pepi II (kk. 2284 SM – kk. 2184 SM) adalah firaun dari Dinasti Keenam dalam Kerajaan Lama Mesir yang bergelar Neferkare iaitu "Ka dari Ra yang Hebat". Awalnya dipercayai bahawa baginda adalah putera Pepi I dan ratu Ankhesenpepy II, tetapi, berdasarkan penemuan bertulis pada batu kapur dari makam Ankhesenpepy, didapati bahawa sebenarnya Pepi II adalah anak dari Merenre yang berkahwin dengan Ankhesenpepy setelah kematian Pepi I. Baginda menjadi raja pada umur enam tahun, sewaktu kematian ayahandanya, dan dipercayai menduduki takhta selama 94 tahun (kk. 2278 SM – kk. 2184 SM), tempoh pemerintahan terpanjang pada monarki dalam sejarah, walaupun perkiraan ini masih menjadi perdebatan di kalangan ahli egiptologi. Tempoh pemerintahan baginda mula menunjukkan kejatuhan Kerajaan Lama. Baginda menguatkan kekuasaan gabenor wilayah (nomarch) setelah memegang tampuk kekuasaan firaun. Dengan ketiadaan kuasa pusat, bangsawan tempatan mula menyerang satu sama lain.
