Calf Head er eit nes på nordkysten av Sør-Georgia, 3 nautiske mil nordvest for Cape Harcourt. Namnet «Kalber-Berg» (Kalvefjellet) vart gjeven av ei tysk gruppe under Det internasjonale polaråret, 1882–83, men berre om toppen av neset. Det vart kartlagd av South Georgia Survey, 1951–52, som rapporterte at dei trong eit namn for heile neset, for å skilje det frå Cape Harcourt, som det lett kan forvekslast med sett frå nord og nordvest. Det engelske namnet Calf Head (Kalveneset), vart tilrådd av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee i 1954.[1]
