Fabio Cerutti (født 26. september 1985 i Torino) er en italiensk sprinter. Med personlig rekord på 10,13 på 100 meter er han den fjerde raskeste italieneren gjennom tidene på denne distansen.[1]

Junior

Cerutti deltok i U23-EM i friidrett 2007 i Debrecen.[2] Han kvalifiserte seg til finalen, med 10,39 i kvalifiseringsheatet og 10,29 i semifinalen, men greide bare 10,40 i finalen, og endte på fjerdeplass. Storbritannia tok de to øverste plassene på pallen; Simeon Williamson vant gull og Craig Pickering sølv.

Senior

På nasjonalt nivå fikk han sølv på 100 meter i 2007, og gull i 2008. I 2009 tangerte han den italienske rekorden da han vant semifinalen sin på 6,55 sekunder. Imidlertid ble han diskvalifisert i finalen, på grunn av tyvstart, og Simone Collio vant mesterskapet.

I EM innendørs i friidrett 2007 nådde han finalen, og endte her på sjetteplass med tiden 6,65. EM-tittelen gikk til Jason Gardener, som løp på 6,51.[3]

Han representerte Italia i Sommer-OL 2008 i Beijing. Her deltok han i 4x100 meter stafett, sammen Emanuele di Gregorio, Simone Collio og Jacques Riparelli. I kvalifiseringen ble de diskvalifisert, og gikk ut av konkurransen. Individuelt løp han også 100 meter, men med 10,49 i kvalifiseringsheatet gikk han ikke videre til semifinalen.

I EM i friidrett innendørs 2009 i Torino fikk han sølv på 60 meter med tiden 6,56, bak Dwain Chambers. Landsmannen Emanuele Di Gregorio tok bronsen. Han deltok også i VM i friidrett 2009 i Berlin, her ble han slått ut i kvartfinalen på 100 meter, med 10,37 sekunder og 7.-plass i sitt heat.[4] Stafettlaget kom til finalen, og endte på sjetteplass.[5]

I EM i friidrett 2010 deltok han på 100 meter, men ble slått ut i semifinalen. Han kom på fjerdeplass i sitt heat, med tiden 10,33, men kun de to beste gikk videre til finalen.[6] Året etter deltok han på det italienske stafettlaget som kom på femteplass på 4 x 100 meter i VM i friidrett 2011.

Den 17. juni 2012 i Sassari løp han 100 meter på 10,24, og ble med det kvalifisert til EM i friidrett 2012 i Helsingfors. I EM løp han på 10,36 i kvalifiseringsheatet, og gikk videre til semifinalen. Der ble han imidlertid slått ut, med tiden 10,50.[7]
