San Fernando (Bayan ng San Fernando) er en kommune på Filippinene. Kommunen tilhører provinsen Masbate og ligger på øya Ticao. Folkemengden var på 23 057 innbyggere i 2015.[2]

Arkeologi, økologi

Kommunen utgjør en del av Ticao, som betegnes som et distinkt arkeologisk landskap, med tusener og prekoloniale artefakter som for eksempel Rizal stone med baybayininskripsjon, Ticao gold spike teeth, begravelsesurner av varierende utforminger og størrelser, jadekjeder, klippeuthugninger av menneskeansikter, og Ticao-petrografene. Mange av funnene smykker som interiørelementer boliger på øya.

Øya er også en ecological frontier for bevaringen av skater. På øye finnes en sjelden og utryddelsestruet art av visayavortesvin (sus cebifrons).
