Ski-VM 1929 ble arrangert 5.–10. februar 1929 i Zakopane i Polen.

Mesterskapet ble opprinnelig arrangert som et «FIS-renn» av Det internasjonale skiforbundet (FIS), men ble i etterkant gitt offisiell status som verdensmesterskap i nordiske grener under FIS' 25. kongress i Mamaia i Romania i 1965.[1]

Det ble konkurrert i 4 individuelle øvelser. Norge og Finland vant 5 medaljer hver av totalt 12 medaljer. Veli Saarinen og Anselm Knuutila, begge fra Finland, ble de mestvinnende utøverne med en gullmedalje og en sølvmedalje hver.

Zakopane arrangerte også mesterskap i utfor (senere betegnet som Europamesterskap i utfor), i 7 km langrenn for kvinner samt i militært patruljeløp, men disse øvelsene ble ikke gitt offisiell status av FIS.[2][3][4]
