Trevor Noah (født 20. februar 1984 i Johannesburg i Sør-Afrika) er en sydafrikansk komiker, disc jockey, skuespiller og programleder. Han ledet det satiriske nyhetsprogrammet The Daily Show på Comedy Central fra 2015 til 8. desember 2022.[4]

Noah er født i Soweto, og har sørafrikansk mor og sveitsisk far, noe som var ulovlig under apartheid. [5] Sørafrikanske navn har ofte en betydning, og moren gav ham navnet Trevor, som er helt uten betydning, slik at han kunne velge sin egen skjebne. Trevor vokste opp i utfordrende omgivelser, og måtte, med en lysere hudfarge ofte late som om han ikke var i slekt med moren. Han lærte at språk var det som måtte til for å «krysse grenser, håndtere situasjoner og navigere i verden».[6][7]

Noah hadde en liten rolle i den sydafrikanske såpeoperaen Isidingo i 2002, da han var 18 år. Han startet da sitt eget radioprogram, Noah’s Ark, på Gautengs fremste ungdomskanal, YFM. Deretter var han programleder for et undervisningsprogram, Run The Adventure, fra 2004 til 2006 på SABC 2. I 2007 ledet han The Real Goboza, et sladreprogram på SABC 1, og Siyadlala, et SABC-sportsprogram. I 2008 var Noah medprogramleder, sammen Pabi Moloi, for The Amazing Date, et stevnemøteprogram, og deltok i danseprogrammet Strictly Come Dancing i sesong 4. Fra 2010 til 2011 hadde han sitt eget program, Tonight with Trevor Noah på sørafrikansk betal-TV.
