Zenon Mróz

Zenon Mróz (ur. 2 listopada 1930 w Suchowoli[1]) – polski uczony, profesor nauk technicznych. Specjalizuje się w mechanice gruntów, oraz ogólnie pojętym materiałoznawstwie (w tym mechanice materiałów i konstrukcji, analizie niesprężystej, optymalizacji konstrukcji, pełzaniu, plastyczności, oraz ocenie stopnia zniszczenia materiałów[2][3]). Członek korespondent krajowy Polskiej Akademii Nauk od 1986 roku, członek rzeczywisty tej instytucji od 2004 roku[2]. Jest również członkiem Polskiej Akademii Umiejętności, oraz pracownikiem Instytutu Podstawowych Problemów Techniki PAN[1].

Absolwent studiów mechanicznych na Politechnice Warszawskiej (rocznik 1952), tytuł profesora nauk technicznych nadano mu w 1971 roku[3].
