Stará hora este o arie protejată (arie specială de conservare — SAC[1], sit de importanță comunitară — SCI) din Slovacia întinsă pe o suprafață de 2.400,18 ha, integral pe uscat.

Localizare

Centrul sitului Stará hora este situat la coordonatele 48°18′55″N 18°55′42″E / 48.315278°N 18.928333°E ({{PAGENAME}}).

Înființare

Situl Stará hora a fost declarat sit de importanță comunitară în aprilie 2004 pentru a proteja 7 specii de animale. Situl a fost protejat și ca arie specială de conservare în martie 2004[1].[2][3]

Biodiversitate

Situată în ecoregiunea alpină, aria protejată conține 12 habitate naturale: Păduri panonice cu Quercus pubescens, Păduri panonice cu Quercus petraea și Carpinus betulus, Roci stâncoase cu vegetație pionieră de Sedo-Scleranthion sau Sedo albi-Veronicion dillenii, Păduri panonice-balcanice de stejar turcesc - stejar sesil, Păduri pe pante, grohotișuri și ravene de Tilio-Acerion, Fânețe de joasă altitudine (Alopecurus pratensis, Sanguisorba officinalis), Pajiști stepice subpanonice, Pajiști uscate seminaturale și facies de acoperire cu tufișuri pe substraturi calcaroase (Festuco-Brometalia) (* situri importante pentru orhidee), Păduri de fag Asperulo-Fagetum, Păduri aluvionare cu Alnus glutinosa și Fraxinus excelsior (Alno-Padion, Alnion incanae, Salicion albae), Pajiști cu Molinia pe soluri calcaroase, turboase sau argilos-nămoloase (Molinion caeruleae), Tufărișuri subcontinentale peripanonice.[3]

La baza desemnării sitului se află mai multe specii protejate:[2]

  • amfibieni (1): izvoraș-cu-burta-galbenă (Bombina variegata)
  • mamifere (2): vidră de râu (Lutra lutra), liliac comun (Myotis myotis)
  • nevertebrate (4): orthosia schmidtii (Dioszeghyana schmidtii), fluturele de noapte (Eriogaster catax), rădașcă (Lucanus cervus), fluturele purpuriu (Lycaena dispar)

Pe lângă speciile protejate, pe teritoriul sitului au mai fost identificate 1 specie de amfibieni, 1 specie de mamifere, 1 specie de nevertebrate, 2 specii de reptile.[2]
