Ab Urbe condita (kifupi: A.U.c. AUC, AVC, a.U.c. hata AU) ilikuwa namna ya Waroma wa Kale kuhesabu miaka. Maneno hayo ni ya Kilatini na yanamaanisha "tangu kuundwa kwa mji". Kwa hiyo Waroma wa Kale walihesabu miaka tangu kuundwa kwa mji wa Roma. Tendo hili liliaminiwa kutokea mwaka 753 KK iliyohesabiwa kuwa mwaka A.U.c. 1.

Haikuwa hesabu pekee katika Roma ya Kale; kwa kawaida walitaja mwaka kwa kutumia majina ya makonsuli wawili waliochaguliwa pamoja kuongoza serikali kwa mwaka mmoja.

Tarehe halisi ya kuundwa kwa Roma haijulikani. Mwanahistoria Mroma Marcus Terentius Varro alikadiria tarehe inayolingana na 21 Aprili 753 KK kuwa siku ambako mji wa Roma uliundwa.
