Alpha Muscae (Alfa Musca, α Mus/α Muscae), Güney Kutbu çevresinde bulunan Musca Takımyıldızı'na ait bir yıldızdır. B2 IV-V yıldız sınıflandırmasına sahiptir ve şu an alt dev bir yıldıza dönüşme evresindedir.[1] Sahip olduğu +2.7 kadir parlaklığı ile takımyıldızındaki en parlak yıldızdır.[3] Dünyadan yaklaşık olarak 315 ışık yılı (97 pc) uzaklıktadır. B2 IV-V yıldız sınıflandırmasına sahiptir ve şu an altdev bir yıldıza dönüşme evresindedir. Güneşten yaklaşık dokuz kat daha büyük bir kütleye ve beş kat daha geniş bir yarıçapa sahiptir. Güneşten yaklaşık 4.000 kat daha fazla sıcak yayar (21.400K) ve bu yaymış olduğu bu sıcaklık neticesinde mavi bir renge sahiptir.[4] Kendi etrafında saniyede 114 kilometre gibi bir hızlı dönebilir ve kendi etrafındaki dönüşünü iki gün gibi kısa bir sürede tamamlar. Yaklaşık 18 milyon yıl yaşında olduğu tahmin edilmektedir.
