Bu hipoteze göre Hint-Avrupa dilleri, barışçıl bir şekilde Avrupa'ya, Küçük Asya'dan MÖ 7000 civarında, Tarım Devrimi ile yayılmıştır. Bu varsayıma göre, Neolitik Avrupa halkının çoğunluğu Hint-Avrupa dilleri konuşmuş, daha sonra yapılmış göçler ise önceden var olan Hint-Avrupa dillerini yeni gelen diğer Hint-Avrupa dilleri ile değiştirmiştir.[1]
