Auburn Üniversitesi (AU veya Auburn), Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nin Alabama eyaletindeki Auburn kentinde bulunan devlet üniversitesidir. 24100'den fazla öğrencisi ve 1,200 personeli ile Alabama'nın en büyük üniversitesidir.[2] Auburn 1 Şubat 1856'da Methodist Episcopal Church, South'a bağlı East Alabama Male College (Doğu Alabama Erkek Koleji) adıyla liberal art okulu olarak kuruldu.[3] Kolej 1872'de Alabama eyaletine bağışlandı ve adı Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama (Alabama Tarımsal ve Mekanik Koleji) olarak değiştirildi. 1892'de eyaletin ilk dört yıllık karma eğitim veren okulu oldu. 1899'da okulun ismi Alabama Polytechnic Institute (API) (Alabama Politeknik Enstitüsü) olarak değiştirildi. 1960'ta ismi resmen Auburn Üniversitesi olarak değiştirildi; üniversite yıllardır Auburn olarak bilinir.[4]
