Esertepe Parkı Ankara'nın Keçiören ilçesinde bulununan parktır.

Özellikler

18,3 hektarlık (45 dönüm) park Ankara'nın kuzeyinde bulunur. Yüksekliği 985 m (3.232 ft) ile 1.055 m (3.461 ft) arasında değişmektedir. Bu da onu Ankara'nın en yüksek noktalarından biri yapmaktadır. Etlik'in yüksek yoğunluklu konut binaları ile çevrilidir. Türkiye'nin ilk yıllarında, saha Türk Ordusu tarafından bir açık hava menzili olarak kullanılmıştır. Ankara kentinin büyümesi olarak yüksek yoğunluklu konutlarla çevrili alan adım adım[netleştirme gerekli]. 1970 yılında Türk Ordusu güvenlik önlemleri ve kullanılmayan sol alan nedeniyle sahayı açık hava menzili olarak kullanmayı bıraktı. 2013 yılında Ankara Belediyesi siteyi alarak Esertepe Parkı'nı kurmuş ve 19 Mayıs 2015 tarihinde 19 Mayıs Atatürk'ü Anma Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı'nda halka açmıştır.[1][2][3][4][5]
